Globe subscribers can heave a sigh of relief because they can get their own Nokia Lumia, 900 that is, exclusively from the carrier. In an announcement on Twitter, Globe said that pre-orders should start on March 26, today, but as of presstime we have yet to see a link to the registration site.
The Lumia 800, as said in the tweet, will be available at P1,499 a month with the My Super Plan Unlisurf Combo 999. If you’re wondering what the Lumia 800 looks like, well, we spotted it a few weeks before the year ended, it looks somewhat like the Meego-powered Nokia N9 with an improved interface and a smaller screen. It’s also fitted with a curved 3.7-inch AMOLED, Corning Gorilla Glass display, an 8MP camera and clocks in its computing power at 1.4GHz.
Nokia’s coming back in a big way, no less. With both of the Philippine’s carriers on board, Pinoys won’t have to look far to get a Nokia Windows Phone 7 device.
